Happy 13th!

A month has gone by and what do I have to show for it? Any stories written?? Of course not, silly!! What kind of question is that. No, but I have found a few things that have been working for me process wise and I have been a tiny bit busy on YouTube for “vlogmas” which basically just means that I put up some videos in December. Anyway, I’ve been waking up at the ass crack of dawn with my gorgeous little babe that enjoys this time of morning apparently and the first thing that I do (aside from tending to him, obviously) is open my manuscript. It’s been really, really nice to show up this way consistently. It’s been about a week now and it’s just such a nice way to start my day, plus I don’t feel bad about not writing at night when I’m so exhausted I can’t even stand straight. So, I know I mentioned not having any stories written and I don’t, but I do have a goal of plotting a story every 3 days until the end of January. This is a slow and steady pace that gives me a lot of wiggle room for life, which I need. Once that’s accomplished, I’ll take 5 days to roughly, roughly, roughlyroughly draft a story and so by the end of April I’ll be able to compile a bunch of stories and see if I think I can begin the querying process. This is my plan. These are my short term goals. Let’s see if I crush them or if they fucking crush me. xo
