I finished my book and i’m on substack

Hiiii. So it’s been a looonnnggg time. So long that I’ve had my baby and he’s five months old! Insanity. Also so long that I’ve FINISHED MY BOOK and have queried 7 fucking agents!!!!! Can you BELIEVE?! I hardly can.

What I can very well believe is that I fucked the formatting up several times already and, actually, I think to every one of those 7 agents that I’ve queried so far 🫠 This is not surprising. It’s annoying and painful but absolutely not surprising. So I’m taking it on the chin and going to really, really, really go over the document AGAIN to check that it’s formatted properly before sending it out to the next round of people.

Anyway, I’ve been beginning to document this process on substack and I’m debating on whether to copy all of the posts here just in case??? Just in case of what?? I’m not really sure but I feel like I’d be remiss not to. Maybe it’s because I freaking pay for this site?

So, yeah. I wrote a book. I sent it to people. I’ll be talking about the painful process of querying. See you around.
